What is the ribbon material, colour and quality used?

We offer high-quality stretch satin and satin non-slip ribbon options — the same trusted by dancers and studios worldwide.

Buying for a loved one?

Dancers are usually quite specific about what they wear. If you’re unsure, age and experience help guide the choice: younger or early-stage dancers typically use non-slip satin, while advanced dancers often prefer stretch satin for its flexibility.

However, when in doubt, it is best to ask.

Are the ribbons cut to length?

Yes, each ribbon comes in the standard length used for pointe shoes with some leeway if needed.

Will the text be visible while dancing?

For non-slip satin, you can wear the print inside or out — your choice.

For stretch satin, the text sits on the inner side, close to you but not visible.

What are the available text colours and fonts?

We offer a curated range of colours and one elegant font, chosen for visibility and style on the ribbon. As these may be updated over time, they will be available to see during the personalisation process.

It is worth mentioning that due to the reflective nature of satin and thermal printing, colour and text visibility may vary with lighting — a natural effect that adds dimension to your custom print.

How long can the personalised message be?

You can include up to 190 characters per ribbon (including spaces). Short, meaningful messages work best. You can always make use of more ribbons to complete your message.

What is the printing method used?

We use a high-quality DTF (Direct-to-Film) printing method that adheres beautifully to both non-slip satin and stretch satin. The print bonds securely to flexible materials, remains smooth through movement, and handles stretching without cracking or peeling.

Whether you choose non-slip or stretch satin, the text stays clear, vibrant, and durable through rehearsals and performances — and with proper care, it remains a lasting keepsake.

How long will it take to receive my order?

Orders are typically made and shipped within 5 business days. Delivery time depends on your location and shipping method.
